The final day of shooting (Day 9 I believe)...if the shoot has been enjoyable
then this tends to be a day of mixed feelings - always relief that it's ended
at one level, anticipation (and a touch of dread!) of all the editing and
post-production stuff ahead and the feeling that you've captured something special
in the work, that it actually means something to everyone involved.
Today there was also that poignant sadness - that the experience of being with and
working and collaborating with these young filmakers and actors was over. You get to
spend a lot of time with them, you get to know them, and you realise you're
going to miss them. As Bergman said, "...It's not the films you make you remember,
